Flooring FAQs for Palmetto Homes
What’s the best flooring for homes near the river?
Waterproof vinyl and tile are ideal—they handle moisture, humidity, and everyday wear beautifully.
Why are my tile floors cracking in my older Palmetto home?
Foundation settling or poor subfloor prep is often the cause. We refer only certified installers who address this upfront.
Can hardwood flooring work in Palmetto’s climate?
Yes—engineered hardwood is designed for humidity and performs well in Florida homes.
Why does my carpet feel damp in the summer?
Florida humidity can settle in old padding. Upgrading to moisture-resistant carpet solves this.
How quickly can my floors be installed?
Most projects are completed in just a few days, depending on product choice and installer availability.

Customer Reviews

Just had the Luxury Vinyl Plank installed by Absolute Flooring. Tom Schneider and his crew were on time when scheduled. The job turned out absolutely beautiful. The material supplied by Flooring Warehouse was top line. And Tom did a first class job installing it. Thanks Tom and Tyler with Flooring Warehouse.

Big Thanks to Your Flooring Warehouse for their excellent Customer Service! I am with Staff Carpet in Springfield, IL and called on them for assistance with finding 1 case of flooring that had been discontinued. I had already searched across the country and found that Your Flooring Warehouse had this on hand. Andy helped ship the case to my customer and communicated with me through the entire process. Much appreciated Andy! Your Flooring Warehouse has our gratitude. Highly recommend.

Greatest experience. You won’t be disappointed. I would give them a 10, if possible. This is a company that puts a high value on their products, employees and customer satisfaction. We ordered some beautiful hardwood at a great price and our salesperson (Toby) called to let us know that a new supplier was offering an even nicer hardwood for the same price. All of the sales people are there to offer help and are very knowledgeable. The wood floor is absolutely gorgeous. However, we did have an issue with how it was laid in our entrance hallway, by the first installer we hired. The owner (Andy) assisted us in getting the help and additional product needed to complete our renovation. Angelo (AJ) and his team did a fantastic job removing and installing the new floor in our hallway and finishing the installation that was remaining. We could not be happier with the beautiful flooring. See pictures. Love it!

Toby was our salesman at your Flooring warehouse and he was wonderful to work with and patient with us while making our decision. We chose Luxury vinyl and it was installed this week by Tom Schneider of Absolute Flooring. He arranged for a professional crew to remove our damaged wood floor, and then he and his partner moved in to lay down our new floor which required a lot of TLC because of moisture coming through cracks in the concrete. They also installed new baseboards. The installation moved along in a timely manner, and we were very pleased with the work. We would definitely recommend Tom for your floor installation.
