Flooring FAQs for Osprey Homes
What’s the best flooring for homes near the bay?
Waterproof vinyl and tile are ideal—they resist moisture and hold up well against Florida’s coastal humidity.
Why are my tile floors cracking?
Often caused by shifting subfloors or poor prep. That’s why we only refer certified installers.
Can hardwood flooring work in Osprey?
Yes—engineered hardwood is humidity-resistant and a stylish option for Florida homes.
Why does my carpet feel damp in the summer?
Florida humidity can affect old carpet padding. Modern, moisture-resistant carpet solves this problem.

Andy and Tyler are the best. Stop in and pet their adorable dogs too! Huge selection of flooring, including ceramic tile wall and flooring tiles. Hardwood, gorgeous carpeting to choose from too. Brought the large tile to them and they sourced it, were able to order it and saved me $$$$. 👏🏻

Wow What a great experience. Started in the show room I pick 6 diffrent vinyl tile wood examples and took them home kept them about 6 weeks returned them with my choice and got estimates from 3 installers didn't go with the cheapest but I am beyond happy with my choice they were in and 2 days later I had 3 bedrooms and a huge closet completed along with painted base boards throughout our 2,200. Sq ft home. I'm very picky and they were simply amazing from start to finish. Highly recommend Your Flooring Warehouse and ABSOLUTE FLOORING LLC owner Tom Schneider
